Concrete & paver driveways

Most driveways crack because the base was rushed. We dig deeper, pack tighter, and pour to the right thickness — so yours still looks sharp after a decade of freeze-thaw.

What we do differently

Built to last, not to ship.

The cheap version of this work isn't really cheap — it's deferred. Here's what we don't cut.

  • 01

Excavate to 12 inches minimum, then 6 inches of compacted granular A

  • 02

Rebar or fibre reinforcement on every pour

  • 03

    Broom, brushed, or stamped finishes

  • 04

    Sealed before the first frost

  • 05

Built with a positive slope so water heads to the road, not the garage

How a job runs

From first call to clean exit.

Every project follows the same arc. The detail changes, the discipline doesn't.

  1. 01

    Site visit

Walk the property, measure, talk about grade and drainage.

  2. 02

    Tear-out

Old driveway out and hauled away the same day.

  3. 03

    Base prep

    Excavate, granular, compact in lifts.

  4. 04

    Forms & rebar

Forms set, mesh tied, control joints planned.

  5. 05

    Pour & finish

Truckload poured, screeded, floated, brushed, edged.

  6. 06

    Cure & seal

Drive on at 7 days. Sealed before winter.

FAQ

Common questions

  • Foot traffic at 24–48 hours, car traffic at 7 days, full strength at 28 days. We'll mark off-limits zones so nothing gets ruined while it cures.

  • A standard two-car driveway (about 400–500 sq ft) typically runs $9–14 per square foot for a plain broom finish, more for stamped or coloured concrete. Final number depends on tear-out, grading, and finish.

  • Both. If the slab is structurally sound we can resurface (overlay or polymer); if it's heaved or cracked through, replacement is the right call. We'll tell you straight.

  • Concrete moves. Control joints decide where cracks happen — done right, they're invisible. Done wrong, they wander. We cut joints early and at the correct depth.
