Custom concrete planters

Off-the-shelf planters look off-the-shelf. We pour them to your dimensions, finish them sharp, and place them so they anchor the landscape.

What we do differently

Built to last, not to ship.

The cheap version of this work isn't really cheap — it's deferred. Here's what we don't cut.

  • 01

    Poured in place or precast

  • 02

    Smooth, board-form, or sandblasted finish

  • 03

    Integral drainage and root barrier

  • 04

Pigmented concrete for charcoal, warm grey, sand

  • 05

Sized to fit specific plants and proportions

How a job runs

From first call to clean exit.

Every project follows the same arc. The detail changes, the discipline doesn't.

  1. 01

    Design

Sketch dimensions, choose finish, confirm placement.

  2. 02

    Formwork

Custom formwork built on site or in shop.

  3. 03

    Pour & cure

Concrete poured with reinforcement, cured slowly.

  4. 04

    Strip & finish

    Forms come off, surfaces refined.

  5. 05

    Install

Set in place, drainage routed, plants in.

FAQ

Common questions

  • Only if water sits in them. We pour with air-entrained concrete and drill drainage holes. Empty large planters before deep freezes for peace of mind.

  • Heavy. A 3×3×2 ft planter is roughly 1,800 lbs. We set them with equipment — once they're in place, nobody's moving them.
